SOUTH SUDAN CRISIS
WFP AIR DROPS FOOD TO DISPLACED PEOPLE
Authorities at the World Food Programme estimate that about 3 million South Sudanese may face a severe food crisis within a few months due to the heavy rains. The officials say the rains have destroyed lots of crops and rendered many roads in South Sudan impassable. The aid agency has now resorted to air dropping food to the displaced people in the troubled parts of South Sudan.
