EAC countries under pressure to sign Economic Partnership Agreements

East Africa is under pressure to sign the Economic Partnership Agreement with Europe by the end of September.

East Africa is under pressure to sign the Economic Partnership Agreement with Europe by the end of September. East Africa however insists any raw material export to Europe must be taxed to avoid a situation where the region  becomes only a market for European products while starving local industries of these raw materials.
