Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda The new Prime Minister of Uganda.
President Museveni has appointed the Health Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda as the new Prime Minister.
Dr. Rugunda replaces Amama Mbabazi who held the position from the 24th of May 2011 until 18th September 2014. The change was contained in a letter written to the speaker of parliament Rebecca Kadaga dated 18/09/2014. In the letter President Museveni thanked Mbabazi for the contribution he has made to the country.
